Rotarian Gary L. Stooksbury, Chief Executive Officer of Aiken Electrical Cooperative, Inc.

Gary Stooksbury has been CEO of Aiken Electric Cooperative since 1995. Aiken Electric serves around 52,000 members in a nine-county service territory in rural South Carolina. He has more than 50 years of experience with management and finance/administration positions in the electric utility business. AEConnect, Aiken Electric’s broadband provider, delivers fiber optic internet throughout its service area. Gary is a past chairman of NRECA’s Community and Economic Development Committee, among other rural electric industry positions. In his free time, Gary enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandson Taylor.
